    Hi there!

    Loving the theme. I’m trying to unsuccessfully change the following:

    – Adding a different sidebar to the blog posts page, still defaults to the main sidebar even though another one has been created and designated for this page
    – Custom header page background has been added but it’s not showing up here — only page that has this issue.
    – I prefer having summary text instead of the complete text showing up in the blog posts page. Though this function is selected in the reading menu of settings, it has no effect on the page.

    Please help?

    Hi there,

    1. You can use the “Main Sidebar” for the blog only and create a different sidebar for other pages.

    2. What pages did you encounter this problem on? Try to create a new page and see if the problem persists.

    3. Make sure that when you edit your post you insert a more tag where you want your excerpt to finish. You can find the more tag button in your editor’s kitchensink.

    1. Not a good workaround. The classes landing page won’t display anything but the main sidebar. All I’d like is the ability to add categories and tags widget to the blog landing page and pages. UNRESOLVED – – – any other thoughts?

    2. Yes, the problem persists. I discovered this has to do with assigning the page as the “blog posts” in the setting menu on WP. AS soon as you assign that to another page, it accepts the custom header. So I just published another blog page to which I assigned the “blog posts” and kept it off the navigation. Not sure if this is a best practice, but it works for now. RESOLVED

    3. Yes, I did that — the automation of WP is nicer and more uniform, but the work around will do. RESOLVED.
