    I could use some help on cpcfny.org

    I am looking to change the color of the header/navigation sections. It is currently the same as the demo I would like to make them white keeping the accents as red. I assume I would need to change the text colors also once the background is white.

    I changed the CSS in the custom section to:

    .copyright {
 color: #ffffff;
}

p {
    color: #000000;
}

    I did this so the text on the entire body of the website would be black but the footer/copyright text CSS change is not working. I suspect the text color CSS adjustment I made is overwriting the footer/copyright section.

    Hi there,

    You need to add this in the “Custom CSS” box:

    .copyright p {
    color: #ffffff;
}

    Of course change the color to your desired one.

    Thank you that solved the copyright text coloring.

    What about the navigation/header color.

    Is this a graphic change or CSS? possibly both?

    I would like to make the top of the website white with black text and the accent color from the theme.

    Hey,

    To change the color of the header simply add this code:

    #header {
    background-color: #1e1d1c;
}

    The navigation styling can be found in the “style.css” file in the theme’s folder. The styling of the menu starts at line 412 just after this text “/*** SKIN ***/”
