    Is there a way to have a background image on all the pages?

    I’ve just tried this is theme options > custom CSS – but there’s been no change.

    Can you help?

}

    Chris,

    The background has changed in the header (if I don’t select an image for Custom Header Page Background).

    However, I’d like to change the background colour for the main background – even use an image.

    The areas I’ve marked in red (albeit rather poorly), I’d like to change. The header colour, the colour on either side of the carousel and the area by the body copy area.

    Is this possible?

    Hey,

    Those are different sections so you need to change them one by one.

    All the codes can be pasted in the “Custom CSS” box.

    For the header:

    #header {
background: #ffffff;
}

    Change the color code to your desired one.

    Carousel:

    .sd-carousel-container-full {
background: #87bd65;
}

    Body:

    body {
background: #e9e9e9;
}

    Save. Done.

    Have you got some coding for the navbar hover or active colour?

    Also, is it possible to put an non-repeating image instead of a colour for the body?

    Hey,

    You can add this for the menu:

    .current-menu-item > a:first-child:hover {
 color: #ffffff;
}

    Change the color code to your desired one.

    To add a body bg simply add the background attribute like the one for the pagetop.

    Eg.

    body {
background: url("http://www.welcometopenzance.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/obstacle-races.jpg") no-repeat;
}
