    hi,
    When I set the posts page to use a page (which is set to use the blog template), the course bar is not showing, and the page banner doesnt show the background.

    1. Try adding this in the Custom CSS box:

    .sd-events-shortcode {
    height: 515px;
}

    2. I can properly see the search courses section and also the header bg. Do you still not see it?

    hi, managed to sort it out by editing the headers.php and putting in a css for .blog
