Just purchased and installed the theme today. used the provided child theme but the child theme style.css isn’t loading. It is skipped over and the main theme’s stylesheet is loaded… I’ve seen this before when something like get_template_directory_uri is used to grab the sheet. How do I get this working properly?

Edit the file named “functions.php” and replace the code from line 30 to 34 with this one:

That doesn’t have any impact on loading the child theme style.css file. It’s still skipped over and the template theme’s style.css file is loaded instead.

I added this to enqueue.php not sure if it’s going to cause other problems but at least I can see the stylesheet is loading.

wp_enqueue_style( 'style', get_stylesheet_uri() );

In the “enqueue.php” file replace line 59

this:

with this:

wp_enqueue_style( 'stylesheet', get_stylesheet_uri(), array(), '', '' ); // Main Stylesheet
