    Hi, I’m using the child theme and I want to make some changes…But for some reason they don’t show up

    I add some styles in style.css located in mycollege_child directory but nothing happens.

    For instance: 

    /*
Theme Name: MyCollege Child
Description: MyCollege Child Theme
Author: Your name here
Template: mycollege
Version: 1.0
*/

@import url("../mycollege/style.css");

.left-bg {
background-color: #ffffff;
}

    What am I doing wrong??

    There’s no problem adding styles to Custom CSS box on admin panel… but I would like to make changes in the style sheet itself.

    Please let me know.

    I amb working in localhost.. (I am the same user that I asked in the themeforest comment) I cannot send any url to take a look.

    child stylesheet is not loading.

    The only child stylesheet file loaded is the custom.css
