    Hey Chris,

    I want to ask why the rendering of fonts is different in chrome and IE. In IE it looks good and crisp whereas in chrome it looks faded and washed. Am I missing something or there is a difference in both browsers.

    Hi there,

    What version of Chrome are you using? I know there’s always a difference in rendering on Chrome for Windows but that is from the fonts and there is nothing we can do about it.

    This problem is on the systems who have old version of Roboto font on their machines. I deleted the old font and now having same rendering as Internet Explorer. But how can we control visitor’s machines who have old version of the font?

    Well, if the user has the font installed on their system I don’t think there’s something you can do. But I don’t think you should bother about this. I think the number of users that have the font pre-installed is insignificant.
