    Simply replace the following files with the ones from the archive:

    “sd-functions.php” located in the theme’s folder > framework > inc > sd-theme-functions, the file named “content.php” located in the theme’s folder > framework > inc > post-formats > courses and the file named “courses.php” located in the theme’s folder.

    Try to set the full width page template to the search results page.

    Regarding the updates you can make the changes by using a child theme but I’m thinking of a way of implementing this in a future update so you can choose between the layout modes.

    just to confirm, it is displaying as expected if I select Page: Courses, but not if I select Page: Search Course Results. and if I use the Page: Courses, the search does not work, and it shows all courses

    Try this:

    Create a new page and assign it the full width page template. Then in the theme options page > Courses > Search Courses > Course Search Results Page select the page you’ve created.

    This will fix the problem.
