    Hi there,

    We have Charity Theme installed on our test site. When you hit the donate button on the site, the donation pop-up appears. After you’ve entered an amount an hit donate, you get directed to the checkout page. Then if you hit return (go to previous page) and make another donation, the donate button on the pop-up is gone and replaced by the text ‘checkout’. The same happens when you click the donate button in the top menu when on the checkout page.

    We don’t want the word checkout to appear, how can we make the donation button stay in stead of changing into a link that says ‘checkout’.

    Hi Chris,

    Thanks for the CSS change but that doesn’t change the function of the button. When there is no donation in the cart, the amount can be changed in through the pop-up. But when you donate again using the pop-up and the checkout button appears, the donation amount is not updated.

    Could you look into this please?

    This seemed to work thanks! How do we make the same changes on our live site? What child files need to be edited with what code?

    Also I have another question: On this page: http://respectthemountains.wptestsite.nl/envirotrek/ you can see the 4 upcoming events. These are displayed through a modified version of the sd_latest_blog shortcake supplied by your theme. Where can we change the amount of posts/events that show? The default setting is 4, but we would like to show 8 in stead.

    Did you try to set the items attribute to the shortcode? Eg. items=”8″

    Thanks, but does this change the posts for everywhere the shortcode is implemented? We would like to show the 4 latest events on the homepage and 8 of the events on another page. But with the same shortcode, is that possible somehow?

    Yes, this will change it in all the places.

    If you want to make it custom on different page you’ll need to add a new attribute in the shortcode_atts array.

    Eg. 'items' => '',

    and then change the query arg to this:

    'posts_per_page' => $items,

    then simply add items=”4″ attribute when you insert the shortcode into the homepage and items=”8″ in your other page.
