    Hi there,

    I’ve added an event but I’m receiving an error in place of the map. It’s saying “The page didn’t load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details.” I don’t know much in terms of JS, so I’m not quite sure how to resolve the issue.

    I’m also noticing on the events page that the Event button is not opening the link in a new tab. I’m unable to use HTML in the URL field, so I can’t add target=_blank. Can you please help me with this?

    Also, I would like the include the “Sharing is Caring” social sharing option (that is at the bottom of each event page) to the Blog posts, but I’m not seeing where I’m given that option out of the box. Is there a way I can add some code to a file in my child theme to allow for this?

    Hello Schuyler,

    1. Make sure that in your dashboard > Ultimate > Google Maps you set up an api key. Google is requiring this lately for the maps to work.

    2&3. Are you comfortable editing some files to achieve that? I can guide you on what to do.

    1. In the theme’s folder edit the file named “single-events.php” and on lines 109, 139 and 178 change the code from this:

    <a href ...

    to this:

    <a target="_blank" href ...

    2. In the file named “single.php” add this after line 84:
