Hi there,

You can easily add a page bg. from the editor of the page > page options section. Is this not what are you trying to achieve? Or you want to do it by using the featured image option?

Hey,

I’ve changed some files a little bit for you, so here’s what you need to do:

1. Download and extract the content of the attached archive.

2. Go to the theme’s folder (not child) > framework > inc and paste the file named “page-top.php” from the archive.

3. Go to the theme’s folder (not child) > framework > inc > metabox and paste the file named “the-meta-boxes.php” from the archive.

Now, when you create a new page you’ll see a section below the editor, named “Page Options”. There you can upload your desired header image.

To adjust the padding go to the theme options page > Styling and paste this in the “Custom CSS” box:

.page-top {
padding: 50px 0;
}

50px is the top and bottom padding. Adjust as necessary. Save Done.

1. Isn’t the page top img responsive? Can you post an url with an image so I can take a look?

2. Can you explain a little bit more? I’m not sure I understand which headline.

3. You want to remove the page top altogether from selected pages?

1. To remove the page top from single posts you’ll need to edit the file named “header.php” and replace the last line, this:

<?php get_template_part( 'framework/inc/page-top' ); ?>

with this:

<?php if ( !is_single() ) : ?>
<?php get_template_part( 'framework/inc/page-top' ); ?>
<?php endif; ?>

Now, the page top will not be displayed on the single posts.

2. To remove the meta you’ll need the following css code:

.entry-meta {
display: none;
}

Hi there,

1. To remove the page top on the category you’ll need to edit the above code that I’ve pasted to something like this:

<?php if ( !is_category() ) : ?>
<?php get_template_part( 'framework/inc/page-top' ); ?>
<?php endif; ?>

2. You can edit the file named “content.php” located in the theme’s folder > framework > inc > post-formats and on line 27 you can change your text.
