    Is there an easy way to have the subscription box for the mailinglist send the email to mailchimp instead of feedburner. Mailchimp is a lot more reliable lately.

    Hi there,

    You must have some coding skills to achieve that. You can edit the “footer.php” file and you’ll find the form’s code from line 22 to 26. You can add the code from any service you want to use.

    Thank you for the reply. It took my a while (I am not an IT-guy), but through trial and error was able to change the code without changing the lay-out.

    Is it not an idea in a future update of the theme to change the options so it can also be used for mailchimp accounts as mailchimp is getting more popular than feedburner for newsletters?

    2. When you go to “Lists” you will see “Signup forms” link. There you can create your form.

    Hi Chris,

    I have actually the same question. Wanting to change to mailchimp.
    I read the 2 threads that write about editting the footer.php

    I made a signup form only consisting of the email address field and I used the naked option. I replaced lines 22 – 26 with the MC code.

    Unfortunately it messes up the layout and doesn’t show the go button.
