I’m still learning about web development and have been able to customize much of what I need to but there are a few things that I’ve either not found in the support forum or I’ve tried but haven’t worked…

1. I need to change the URL for “Classes” and “Instructors” posts/pages from the homepage carousels. I tried the suggested fix of going to the WP root folder > wp-content > plugins > weekly-class-schedule and editing the file named wcs.php.

Adding

‘rewrite’ => array( ‘slug’ => ‘my_url_here’, ‘with_front’ => false ), // Permalinks format

Right after
‘public’ => true,

Saving. Going to my WP dashboard > settings > permalinks and click “Save Changes”. But when I go to click on one of the “classes,” it tells me “page not found”.

2. I need to change the number of items in the instructors carousel. I’ve seen another inquiry on this, with the response being add
‘ item=”4″ ‘ to the shortcode but I’m not sure where exactly to add it.

3. Is there a way to make one tab on the main menu unclickable?? It has a dropdown, and those options are the only ones I want people to be able to click on.

4. How do I remove the “posted on: date” and “by” on the “classes” carousel posts? I also want to remove the posted “by” and “in” on posts that show in “News & Events”. I again found a fix in here but while it did what I want for the “classes” it was then showing some of the coding text on the “News & Events” page.
