    Hi Chris,

    So on my homepage in my slider, I have the words “Fit With SD” on the 1st slide. In fact, in all 3 slides, I have the same font. However, it differs in Firefox than it does in Chrome/Safari. How do we fix this? I’ve included pics of both. I want it to look like it does in Firefox.

    My apologies….it didn’t attach the 2nd image. So….the one attached to this reply is Firefox. The previous one is Chrome/Safari. I want it to look like this (italicized).

    Hi,

    Did you try to make an image instead of a text? This way you can achieve better looking graphics for the slider.

    If you don’t want to do that let me know and I’ll guide you on how to set the correct text.

    Do you mean make an image of the text? I want the background to be transparent, so I’m not sure how to do that.

    I see what you’re saying. I want to make use of the transitions, though, with the text. The reason being is that this occurs with all my other slides as well. I just showed you the 1st slide because I thought it might be easier. If you have google chrome or safari, you’ll see. I have 4 slides in total.

    Can you show me how to make the text the same across all web browsers?

    Hi there and sorry for the delay. I was out of office for the weekend.

    It seems that FF and Chrome are rendering the default font differently and that’s what is causing the problem.

    So, try this: go to the theme options page > Styling and paste this in the “Custom CSS” box:

    .tp-caption.big_white {
font-family: Arial;
}

    Hello,

    I don’t think you’re understanding. I tried what you suggested, but that just made the Firefox font Arial. I do not want Arial. I want it to be ‘Alegreya Sans SC’, sans-serif;.

    However, your suggestion, regardless of whether it was Arial or any other font, ONLY worked for Firefox. I don’t want to change how it looks in Firefox (it’s already Alegreya Sans SC’, sans-serif and a few other fonts for the other slides). Firefox has it the way I want it. I want to change how it looks in Safari and Chrome. Safari and Google Chrome, the font renders in Arial for some reason….for all the slides.

    Does that make sense? If you open my webpage and go through in Firefox and then both in Safari and Chrome, you’ll see what I’m talking about.

    The font is loading fine on ff, chrome and safari (on my side) the only difference is that on FF it’s in italic style and in chrome and safari it has a normal style.

    Do you want to make it italic too on safari and chrome?

    If so, here’s the code:

    .tp-caption.big_white {
font-style: italic;
}
