Hi,

I have 2 little bugs on my home page I’m wondering if you could help.

1. when you scroll down a little bit, over the revolution slider on the right hand side there seems to pop up a facebook and twitter icon which is odd. Appears when scrolling.

2. I dont have a lot of content for the home page, but just under the slider there is a large gap and under recent posts there is another large gap. How can I fix that?

Hi there,

1. The problem is that you’ve inserted the slider directly into the page. Make sure that you enable the slider from the theme options page. And then simply rename your slider and slider alias to “homeslider”. It will automatically appear on the page.

2. Gaps:

Top gap:

I think the top gap is created by the settings of your slider. Maybe you set the slider to force full height and width?

Bottom gap:

That gap is part of the theme. If you want to remove it simply paste this code in the theme options page > Styling > Custom CSS box:

Thanks for that.

I can’t find anything in the slider for the gap at the top of the page. I tried editing a few of the settings but nothing changed and it is set to full width.

I’m wondering, this gap wasn’t there before when I had the demo content in, it had what is there currently and ‘classes’ at the top. When I removed classes this is when the gap under the slider appeared. Could it be a mini page height setting maybe in the css? Any other thoughts?

I’ve fixed it for you. It seems that you’ve selected the “Full Screen” option and your images’ height was just 520px hence the empty space.

Check it out now and let me know if everything is ok or you need some additional styling.
