    Hello ,

    I am trying to change the search courses to search colleges in the theme. The objective of my website is to find the right college and not the course. Can you please guide me ?

    Also i wanted to change the position of the logo to the center and have the navigation menu on the left and right side of the logo.

    Hi there,

    1. You can rename everything from the theme from courses to college and also from the translation files located in the theme’s folder > framework > lang

    2. I’m afraid it is not possible right out of the box to do this.

    How do I rename everything? I’ve installed the theme already. Can I do it through Appearance > Editor?

    I did that, but the search bar is still saying ‘Search Courses’ before the dropdown options.

    You need to change that string from the translation files located in the theme’s folder > framework > lang.

    Or you can directly edit the file named “search-courses.php” located in the theme’s folder >A framework > inc and you’ll find the string at line 3.

    I changed it in the file and reuploaded my theme. What if I’ve made changes to my theme and don’t want to reupload the whole zip file. Is there a way to edit the “search-courses.php” file without going into the theme folder on my computer? Or is there a way to upload a single .php file?

    You can use a child theme instead and make all of your changes in that child theme.

    For example to change the search course you copy the file “search-courses.php” in the child theme folder > framework > inc and the theme will actually use this location so you won’t have to edit the theme file.
