    Hi,

    May I know which template/ php file, and which part of the file should I edit to hardcode the dropdown list item in my search form? My client wants the item to be displayed in her preferred order, neither Desc nor Asc. :(.

    Hi,

    I tried ordering the drop down list by slugs, but it doesn’t work.

    $args[‘fields’][] = array(‘type’ => ‘taxonomy’,
    ‘taxonomy’ => ‘course_discipline’,

    ‘format’ => ‘select’,
    ‘allow_null’ => $sd_data[‘sd_discipline_name’],
    ‘order’ => ‘DESC’,
    ‘orderby’ => ‘slug’,
    ‘operator’ => ‘AND’
    );

    Would you be able to advise me where have I did wrongly? Thanks.

    That is not a default WP array. I had some clients that successfully arrange their terms using this plugin here:

    Category Order and Taxonomy Terms Order

    You can give it a try too.
