    Hi
    I’m having a weird issue with icons in Insurance Products.
    I want to add an icon that exists in the library (seen online) but not in the dropdown list. Plus, the icon is available on Visual Composer modules that use Font Awesome icons like the Insurance Tabs.

    Since I’m forced to chose from the list, I can’t use the icon I want/need.

    It gets better: if I use Chrome Inspector tool and manually change the icon name, it shows correctly.
    Please help or advise.
    The icon tag having the issue is fa fa-bus

    Hello

    I’m not using any section. Just editing the fields in the “insurance product” page/template.
    There’s an option to add an icon. The icon I want isn’t available. However:
    a) it exists in font awesome version
    b) I can choose the same icon when using visual composer Insurance Tab module
    c) if I edit the page using Chrome Editor, and change the icon class (from fa fa-car to fa fa-bus) the icon shows up, proving it is available and not having any update related issue.

    Maybe there’s an error (or needing an update) with the combobox that lists the available icons.
    That field is locked in a way that you HAVE to chose from the list – can’t just write (writing is there for search only)

    Ok, I’ve checked it out and it seems the bus icon is in the 4.7 version while the theme has 4.5

    If you want you can post a ftp username & pwd. and I can update it for you.

    Ok, I’ll try and explain you what you need to do:

    1. In your theme’s folder > framework > css replace the file named “font-awesome.css” with the one in the attached archive.

    2. In your theme’s folder > framework > fonts replace the font awesome font files with the ones from the archive.

    3. In your theme’s folder > framework > inc > theme-functions replace the file named “font-awesome.php” with the one from the archive.

    Proceeded as mentioned and worked.. well, almost. Now the icon is showing online as a square. Using inspector I can see is a class issue. Instead of the sintax “fa fa-bus” it is showing only “fa-bus”. The other icons are ok.

    Would appreciate urgent advice.

    The new font awesome fields were missing the fa class so I simply added it in the metaboxes.
