Hi. My website http://hmassoc.org/ uses the intuition theme.
NO POST CONTENT
Recently, all posts stopped showing the page content. The title shows but no content. See http://hmassoc.org/tips-from-former-smokers-campaign-new-resources/. It’s happening for all posts. The category page shows fine http://hmassoc.org/category/news/ just not individual articles. Not sure why this happened all of a sudden. Can you help me with this?I disabled ALL plugins and still had this problem. Then I switched to the 2015 theme and there was NO issue but when I put Intuition theme back on, it happens again.
TWO INTUITION THEMES
All plugins are updated. Theme version is 1.0. I tried to update the theme but it instead overrode your theme with one also called intuition by CPO themes.INTUITION’S FUTURE?
I’m also noticing that Intuition is not shown on your current site as a theme but it is still available on themeforest. Are you planning on discontinuing it?April 10, 2015 at 2:07 pm #5724Hi there,
That’s weird. Can you enable the WP debug function and see if it throws any errors.
The update is for a theme on the WP repository that happens to have the same name. I think that’s a bug from WordPress showing updates on themes with the same name.
The theme will be removed soon from ThemeForest but support will go on, no worries.
Let me know how’s going.
Cheers!
ChrisApril 10, 2015 at 4:12 pm #5734Hi. I enabled debug and it throws this error. See http://hmassoc.org/tips-from-former-smokers-campaign-new-resources/

At this point it’s been three days and I had to take the debugging off so that my client can use what parts of the sites are working (the debug took all forms down). Can you let me know what I can do to fix my issue of the post content not showing? I get the feeling my client is starting to run out of patience. Do you need a login to the site? cPanel access? What can I do to help? Thanks for your help.
April 14, 2015 at 12:34 pm #5761Hi there and sorry for the delay but it was Easter here and I was out of office.
Yes, it would be great if you can give me a test username & pwd. so I can take a closer look. Make sure you use the private reply function of the forum.
Cheers!

The problem was the “single-post.php” file that you’ve added in the theme’s folder. That file was overriding the “single.php” file that handles the posts.
Check it out and let me know if everything is ok.
Cheers!
April 15, 2015 at 10:16 pm #5787Thank you so much for your help.
I’ll assume it’s ok to delete the single-post.php file. I did not put it there. I migrated the site from another server a couple of weeks ago and that file is not on the old server nor in the zip file I still have.
I’m wondering if perhaps it was added when I updated the theme, once on this new server and it got overridden by the free WordPress theme with the same name by CPO. I then put YOUR intuition theme files back on the server from my backup and I’d bet this file got left over from the mixup. It IS a file that they use in their Intuition theme.
I would not have figured this out on my own. I appreciate your time. AND my client is super happy to be back up and running 100%.
Thank you.
JessicaApril 20, 2015 at 6:03 pm #5813Hey Jessica,
Yes, it could have been from that update and since the file is a default WP template it has overridden my files and hence the problem.
I’m glad everything is all right now.
Cheers!
