    In the staff section, I don’t want to have individual staff pages for each member, so is it possible to make it so their names are not links to their individual staff pages?

    Hi there,

    This is not possible right out of the box but with a little editing you can fix it.

    In the theme’s folder > framework > inc > vc > shortcodes edit the file named “sd-staff.php” and:

    on line 75 and 108 replace this:

    <a href="<?php the_permalink(); ?>" title="<?php the_title_attribute(); ?>"><?php the_title(); ?></a>

    with this:

    <?php the_title(); ?>

    Ok, I understand, but I’m having trouble getting to the spot where I should edit the code. Should I go to my cPanel? (I’m using Managed WordPress through GoDaddy). Can you give more specific instructions?

    I’m afraid WP doesn’t give access to that file from it’s dashboard so you’ll need to either access it through your cPanel or you can login via FTP and edit the file there.
