Can you recommend a best-practice fix for the menu bar dropping into the slider area for certain resolutions? Ideally, the full menu will remain for as long as possible but will transition to the drop-down mobile menu seamlessly.

I see that the problem happens only on iPad in portrait mode.

Try this:

Go to the theme options page > Styling and paste this in the “Custom CSS” box:
```
@media (min-width: 768px) and (max-width: 979px) {
    .sf-menu a {
        padding: 0 8px 19px;
    }
}
```
Save. Done.

Perfect. I see the number/length of menu items affects this. So if they alter the menu again, I should just adjust the padding on this class?

Yes, this depends of the number of menu items so you need to adjust the padding accordingly.
