    the menu bar @ http://www.mac.edu.in not showing [anything] at particular resolution which is 1024*768 .

    the header is fine [logo,social icons are working] except the menu..

    Hi there and sorry for the delay, we’re still on holiday until 11 Jan so support will be slower than usual.

    It seems that you have too many menu items and it gets pushed down.

    Try this:

    In the theme options page > Styling > Custom CSS box paste this:

    .sf-menu a {
    padding: 5px;
}

    Save. Done.

    We are seeing the same problem with our menu and that fix proposed above does not work for all screen sizes. I think you just need to fix your break points.

    Where can we change the break-point at which the menu changes from a regular menu to a mobile menu?

    Hi there,

    The responsive code is in the theme’s folder > framework > css > bootstrap-responsive.css. The breaking point can be found at line 1134 and 1137 where the default menu gets hidden and the mobile menu gets “display:block”.

    Thank you Chris! Saved me from digging. Do you think you will ever update your theme to have better break-points so your demo menu’s don’t disappear at certain screen sizes?

    I think I’ve given you the wrong location (actually the location from another theme of mine, I don’t know why I thought I was on the support thread for that theme).

    So, for this theme the breaking point is handled by bootstrap. If you edit the “header.php” file on line 117 you’ll see the classes of the menu: “hidden-lg hidden-sm hidden-md”.

    The actual problem is not the breaking point but the length of the menu. When there are too many items the menu is pushed down under the slider and that’s why you cannot see it. If you adjust the number of menus or play with the padding you’ll make it right.

    I’ve also fixed my demo page by reducing with 1 the number of items in the menu (btw thanks for letting me know of the problem).
