    Hello,

    I am having bit of an issue as far as getting my website to load correctly.

    It is setup how I want it at the domain, getfit.gaimsfitness.com

    however, when I went to move the getfit.gaimsfitness.com over to the domain i want it as, http://www.gaimsfitness.com , it shows a white screen, as you can see from the http://www.gaimsfitness.com link.

    I spent about an hour and a half on the phone with godaddy but still no joy. They told me that the theme was holding onto the old domain. (Not quite sure what that means.)

    Anyway, any help on the subject would be grealy appreciated.

    Hi there,

    Hod did you make the changes of the domain? I mean did you changed host also? If so, how did you export your content and import in the new domain?

    So the website I am working with is hosted through godaddy.com. Im not sure if you have had any experience with their setup but through their interface. I went to their hosting tab, and launched to the application screen, and went into their manage settings, where I had the option to move the getfit.gaimsfitness.com to the domain gaimsfitness.com

    Aside from there, there was no other effort done on my side of things.

    The site content will show up with other themes, but do not show up with the getfit theme installed.

    That’s weird. I don’t see how the theme can be locked to the domain name. Did you check your WP settings and insert the new domain name? Especially in “Settings > General”

    I believe the issue is that this theme is only somewhat compatible with wordpresses newest version of wordpress 4.1, when it was reverted to wordpress 3.8 it seemed to correct the issue. Although, it was working briefly when it was updated to 4.1 it seems that it is a bit fussy and not reliable on the newest version.

    Is there a new update to this theme or is it only reliable up to 3.7 as stated on the information page?

    Hey,

    The theme is compatible from 3.7 and above, including the latest version 4.1. My demo page is on 4.1 and working without problems.

    Did you try to enable default WP theme on your site and see if it’s working with that?

    Also, note that it’s impossible that the theme holds onto one domain name because all the info it gets is from WP itself. It doesn’t have any hard coded links to any domain whatsoever.
