    Hi there,

    We have bought MyEducation theme and just installed it in my localhost-wordpress by uploading it. In the themes page I see these lines –

    this theme requires the following plugins: Posts 2 Posts, Revolution Slider, SD Theme Functions, Sidebar Generator and Visual Composer.
    This theme recommends the following plugins: Contact Form 7 and Really Simple CAPTCHA.

    How can I install these plugins now?

    Hi there,

    Did you click on the “Begin installing plugins” link? If, for some reason, it’s not working you can manually install the plugins by adding them into your plugins section. You can find the plugins in the theme’s folder > framework > plugins.

    Hi Chris,

    Thanks for your reply. I have installed all the plugins in the folder framework>plugins. But still I don’t see many of them in the site. I don’t see the slider, menu options, faculty page etc. I have the screenshot of the site how it looks now. Please let me know if I’m missing something here.

    Oh, that’s because you didn’t set it up. You can find step by step instructions in the documentation of the theme located in the archive you’ve downloaded > Documentation > MyUniversity > index.

    I have set it up using the instructions. But I still don’t see the slider and the drop down options. Screenshots attached. Can we have a quick call to discuss this? We have a deliverable coming next week.

    Hi,

    You must:

    1. Create a menu and assign it to the “Header Menu” area. You can do this by going to your WP dashboard > Appearance > Menus

    2. You need to create a new slider named “homeslider” and with alias “homeslider”. Then simply activate the slider to appear from the theme options page > Homepage.

    Hey,

    Simply create your professors and then create a normal page and assign it the “Professors” page template.
