    There is a new version of WPBakery Visual Composer. I have installed 4.5.3. This website is now at our clients hands. Do we have to pay to get the update?

    The client reported that he made some changes in a page that we have built from a template of Visual Composer and the content disappeared without any action from their side. What could have happened? It could be related with page builder… How to prevent from happening again?

    Hi there,

    I don’t think the problem is related to the page builder. The content should be there even with the builder disabled (though not looking good but it still need to be there in a raw format).

    You don’t have to pay for the update. I will release an updated theme very soon and it will contain the latest versions of the slider and page builder. You’ll receive an update when the update is ready.

    I don’t have Envato wordpress toolkit in this theme: how will I know that there is a new update?

    Each time I’ll release an update you’ll receive an email from Envato noticing you about the update. That is disregarding that you have or not the toolkit.

    Unfortunately I’m not very familiarized with the Envato toolkit. I’m currently working on a custom solution that will enable users to update the theme just like any other update-able WordPress item based on the purchase code. But I don’t have an ETA of when this will be available.
