    Hey there,

    currently working on a website that will be implementing this.
    I did notice the settings available under Theme options > Footer > Newsletter.
    I tried to tweak the css but I am still unable to achieve the way the recipient and sender mail format works.

    I have 2 things to address:

    1. As I see only <form action=”mailto:contact@sscharities.com”> Is there a way to add a CC / BCC / Reply To function wherever necessary as well?

    2. Is there a way for me to customise the sender and recipient mail text format?

    Please advice me on this.

    The newsletter is based on the “naked” newsletter form code from MailChimp.

    Hey there,

    I am aware of replacing the url into a mailto function instead.
    However, Is it possible to customise for it such that there is a BCC / CC function with sender and recipient format? Such as Contact Form 7 where I can have full control of the mail format on both ends. Having Mail(1) and Mail(2) function.

    If not, is there any way I can maintain this look but achieve the functionally of a contact form with control of the mail formatting as well?

    Hi,

    From what I understand you want to put a contact form in the newsletter section. I’m afraid this will require a functional form code altogether and it’s not possible with the current format.

    Hey there,

    I understand there are certain restrictions to the current formatting. Do you suggest any method where I can make use of the current newsletter?

    Such as, When a visitor fills up [NAME] and [EMAIL] field, and then by clicking the submit button. It will bring them to a custom page created by me which will have a contact form. But with the [NAME] and [EMAIL] field data brought over based on the previous entry.

    I am open to any recommendation, as ideally I would want the email send to the sender and recipient to be formatted neatly.

    You can try and put a contact form 7 shortcode in the newsletter box but you’ll need to manually style the generated form to accommodate the site’s design.

    Hey there,

    As I have already styled the contact forms accordingly for the several contact forms in the website (Html formatting for sender and recipient). I can create a new contact form for the format if it is needed.

    However, how do I implement this into the newsletter with the respective fields currently, [EMAIL] and [NAME]?

    As I notice that codes and inputs are different as compared to contact form 7.

    Please advice me on this. Example of codes are definitely welcomed.

    You need to create a new form in contact form 7 with just 2 fields. Once you create it use the provided shortcode and paste it in the place of the newsletter code and see how’s going.

    Hey there,

    I have tried placing the shortcode for my contact form as such: [contact-form-7 id="2843" title="NewsLetter Contact"] and it does not seem to appear at all.

    I have also installed Contact Form 7 MailChimp Extension plugin as well and tried various methods. But I am still lost as to which direction I should approach in order to have it work ideally.
