Is there a way to edit what is displayed in mobile view? Based on our analytic s, about 1/2 are using mobile devices. They are not even looking at the main website. It is critical, therefore to have flexibility with the appearance on mobile. Are there directions you can provide specific to altering the mobile appearance. The main things include, removing testimonials, slider, instructors, and any additional sections if I’ve made them on the desktop version.. Adjusting the menu.. Things like that.

If that is NOT possible, then I’m thinking of using a third party plugin. Not sure how that will interact with this template, but do you have one to recommend?

Hi there,

You can easily adapt your website for mobile devices. You need to edit the file named “bootstrap-responsive.css” located in the theme’s files > framework > css. There you’ll find all the classes and visibility modes from the smallest device to large desktop screens.

What I think you refer to with visibility modes for phone is the section near the top

Which refers to the slider, and which would handle the instructors, & testimonials

How can I select specifically is displayed? That is, if I want to remove testimonials, instructors, and classes. How would I do that?

I tried wp-touch mobile. On first go, it showed an error. See attached

What we are really looking for is a mobile version that is a lot like

The WP-Touch is creating a whole other theme for the mobile devices.

Here’s an example to hide your items on phone portrait view. Paste this in the “Custom CSS” box in the theme options page > Styling:

How can we change at what browser width the mobile menu kicks in and replaces the desktop menu?

Because right now I have a desktop menu that breaks into two lines between 767px and 1200px – not cool.

That worked. Kinda.

Now the .mnav is showing up super small, on the right hand side, instead of under the main logo. Seems like there is missing styling for it and for its elements (and the logo) that’s applied for mobile sizes. Where are those styles applied? If I could find them I could copy them into this viewport size as well.
