    you think the paging problem in home has to do with permlinks?

    It seems my changes doesnt work for make the file writable… I just sent an email to the person in charge of the server asking him to make the change for enable the mod_rewrite but its night here so I will have to wait till tomorrow for him to make it.

    Just let me know if you think this is the problem with the paging. You think I need to have permlinks as page name for paging to work correctly?

    If its this, then I have to wait till tomorrow and let you know when this guy makes the changes…

    Yes, because whenever you change your permalink settings (the feature that makes your urls look pretty, instead of ?=post2 they will look like /post-title) you get a 404 error.

    Also, maybe the .htacces file in your WP root folder is not writable. This may be possible too.

    The file named “custom-options.css” located in the theme’s folder > framework > css is not writable also, hence the notice you get in the theme options page
