    Hi Chris,

    We recently started receiving a “502 Bad Gateway” error message and researched into the wordpress error log. We found an error with the Helping Hands theme. I copied the error below:

    [16-Jan-2017 02:37:01 UTC] PHP Warning: array_merge() expects at least 1 parameter, 0 given in /var/www/vhosts/myface.org/wp-content/themes/helpinghands/framework/inc/metabox/the-meta-boxes.php on line 505

    Can you please assist us to resolve this error?

    Hi there Lin En,

    I don’t think that the warning has anything to do with the 502 error.

    The 502 error signals a request for either a page, script, process, or query has taken too long to complete and has been cancelled.

    What is your php memory allocated to php?

    Do you have any other errors on your server’s log? How often do you get the 502 error? Can you replicate it whenever you want or does it happen randomly?

    Hi Lin En,

    I assure you that those are not the culprit of your 502 error. No one reported this problem with the theme so far. In fact most of them are not even errors but some warnings.

    Do you have any caching plugins installed and activated? How often do you get the error? Can you try and disable all plugins except the ones that come default with the theme and see if you still have the problem?
