    Hi, I’m using the Child Theme and whenever I adjust some of the Theme Options, accent color or header height, the new changes don’t seem to show up. So far those are the only options that don’t seem to sync. If I switch back to the Parent Theme then the options seem to work, but I would prefer to use the Child Theme if possible. Any suggestions? Thanks in advanced!

    Hi there,

    Make sure that in the child theme’s folder > framework > css the file named “custom-options.css” is writable (has 755 or 777 permission settings).

    Hi, so I didn’t see a “custom-options.css” but saw a “custom-styles.css” and changed the permissions. After I adjusted the permission it still didn’t seem to work. Should there be a “custom-options.css” file in there?

    Sorry, the correct file is the one you’ve found.

    Try this:

    Go to the theme’s folder (not child) > framework > inc and edit the file named “enqueue.php”. Replace line 49, this:

    wp_register_style('custom-styles', get_template_directory_uri() . '/framework/css/custom-styles.css', 'style');

    with this:

    wp_register_style('custom-styles', get_stylesheet_directory_uri() . '/framework/css/custom-styles.css', 'style');
