    Hello,

    So, after a brief pause I’m back to work on this website – KGPS.CA

    My client refused to go with paypal and opted to try moneris e-select plus ..

    in the campaign settings > payment gateways ..

    I deselected the test checkbox
    In payment gateways – I selected Moneris CA eSELECTplus
    in the drop down menu of the default gateway – i selected moneris
    for the – Moneris CA eSELECTplus Settings – i put in the store_id and hhp key ..
    i saved

    i tried to make a payment
    the payment seems like it went through – i got a confirmation number .. but, no verification email .. and when i checked the payment history – i can see the orders but they’re pending ..

    would you happen to know what’s going on?

    what am i missing.

    So, I did this:

    I went to Easy Digital Downloads (EDD) support.
    I searched, ‘pending purchases’.
    The info there talked about finding the IPN for paypal and how that would fix the pending issue.
    Being with moneris – I called them up and asked about an IPN. (i forget what IPN means)
    Moneris wasn’t familiar with that terminology and asked what did i want to happen.
    I told them I wasn’t getting any email notifications showing that my donation went through – on either end.
    I then had to log into moneris and configure some settings there.
    now, i’m getting an email for the sale and so is the purchaser.
    BUT – the payment history in campaigns still reads, “Pending”.
    Once I went into the details of each item I was able to change the status from Pending to Complete.
    Which generated more emails.
    NOW, i’m a bit confused – is EDD supposed to be automatic? or, am I supposed to be changing the pending to complete status manually?

    so, with all that said and done – i know transactions are going through.

    Now, how do i get it so when the purchaser hits the donate button it opens in a new frame/window .. cause it is, I leave the KGPS.ca to moneris and have no way back. other than to just type it in the address bar again .. and normal people don’t want to do that – they want a link or something ..

    Hi there,

    Payments should go automatically if you select the campaign type as “Donation”. Being a fundraising plugin it will accept orders but only if the entire amount is pledged the payments will be processed so I think that’s why you get the pending payments. Try to go to your dashboard > Campaigns > Settings and at the bottom of the page enable the “Donation” option on the “Campaign Types” setting.
