    The site I am working on switched from paypal cornerstone and now their donation page is simply a link to a cornerstone donation page…Is there a way to redirect the donation button checkout to another website’s url?

    another question, …in the “about-Person” info where it lists the social media icons and links, what exactly do I put to get it to link to that page?

    Hi there,

    For the shortcode, are you using the button shortcode? I mean how does your shortcode exactly looks in the page?

    For the person shortcode simply replace the hashes (#) with your social url.

    Example:

    how do i make the photo links open in a new window instead of open the new page in the same window?

    any idea why some of the text in some paragraphs are bolding and some of the formatting on the home page are not the same?

    now that i’m almost done building the site, how do I actually change it from the wordpress multisite iworkcreations.com/hiphopforchange to the website http://www.hiphopforchange.org ? If i forward and mask the site it doesn’t show the html link to any of the separate pages and if you refresh it just reloads the home page again. hmpf.

    3. You’ll need to install WP on your site, copy the theme and activate it on the new site and then export the content and theme options page and import them on your new website.

    1. It is any linked photo…one example is the photo on the main home page down at the bottom…when clicked, it links to the Facebook event link but should open in a new window. iworkcreations.com/hiphopforchange

But what if the domain name is under a different account than my hosting acct? i.e., http://www.hiphopforchange.org is owned in a different login acct in godaddy than iworkcreations.com. my hosting is under iworkcreations.com and has the first domain listed as a sub-domain. So i need to host it under my account, but I need for their domain name to be what visitors see when they view the site. However, just forwarding and masking doesn’t allow for each individual page link to display or be shared. Please advise if this makes sense. 🙂

    Hey,

    1. It depends on how the image is inserted. If you’ve inserted it directly into the page you simply need to add target=”_blank” into the link. If the images are inserted automatically by a plugin I’m afraid it’s more complicated and not too recommended.

    2. It seems that you’ve wrapped the content into some styling code that it’s changing the style of the text. You can see it in the “HTML” mode of your editor.
    This is the code I’m talking about:

    3. You can try to make a 301 redirect. Here’s what you need to do:

    – Create a file named .htaccess and paste inside something like this:

    RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www.hiphopforchange.org
RewriteRule (.*) http://iworkcreations.com/hiphopforchange/$1 [R=301,L]

    Now, upload this file in the root folder of the domain name http://www.hiphopforchange.org

    A second method can be to redirect the domain name http://www.hiphopforchange.org directly to the website through the godaddy control panel in the domain settings.
