    Hi Chris,

    Can you guide me on how to remove the right column of widgets from the template for “Blog: News Style Page”… I am looking for a full width rendering of my blog entries. Since I have “Recent Posts” set as a widget in my right column, it looks duplicative that these post titles appear to the right of the actual posts themselves.

    Hi there,

    You leave the “Main” sidebar for the blog page only (and put inside whatever widgets you’d like) and you can create another sidebar that you can put other widgets and set them on your pages. This way you can avoid displaying the widget on the blog page too.

    If you still want to remove the sidebar you need to edit the file named “blog.php” and remove this from line 57:

    <?php get_sidebar(); ?>

    But not that you’ll need to make also some adjustments to the styling of the page too.
