    Hi there,

    We have noticed that the two bars at the top of our site (http://4afsfit.com/) disappear when viewing the site using tablets and mobile devices. If possible, we’d like to display the telephone number and client links even when the site has been resized to a smaller version. Is there an easy fix for this?

    Also, when the site is resized to the mobile version, it appears the RevSlider is not resizing. I just checked out the GetFit demo and it looks like it resizes there. Is this something that can be fixed also?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hey,

    1. You can edit the file named “responsive.css” and on line 22 change from this:

    .tel-email {
    display: none;
    }

    to this:

    .tel-email {
    display: block;
    }

    Also, I’ve noticed you’ve added another bar at the top and gave it the class “span4”. Note that in a container all span sections must be equal to 12. If you take a closer look you’ll see that all the sections (left, menu and right bar) have these spans equal to 12.

    2. I think this is due to your settings. Did you check “Auto Responsive” in the slider’s control panel?

    Cheers!
    Chris

    Thanks for the reply!

    1. I am still having trouble with this part. I changed to “display:block” but now only the orange bar I added is showing up when I view the site on a mobile device…and I have to scroll way over to the right in order to see it. Everything else is showing up within the confines of my iPhone screen without having to horizontally scroll.

    Is this part of the span issue you mentioned? I don’t understand what needs to equal 12.

    2. My RevSlider was set to the “Fixed” layout. I changed the layout to “Auto Responsive” and that seems to have done the trick!

    Hey,

    1. This is because you’ve created a new bar that has the span4 class and, as I mentioned, the total amount must be 12.

    Let me explain it to you how the grid system works:

    If you want to create a 3 column grid you’ll have 3 divs like the following example:

    <div class="span4"> ... content here ...</div>
    <div class="span4"> ... content here ...</div>
    <div class="span4"> ... content here ...</div>

    This equals 12.

    If you want to have 4 columns you’ll put 4 divs but with span3 class.

    On the header you currently have 3 columns of different sizes:

    span3 (which keeps the logo)
    span5 (for the menu)
    span4 (for the tel bar)

    When you’ve added the fourth span4 column you’ve broken the grid. Try to find a way to add your extra bar without the use of span class.

    Let me know if you didn’t understand something.

    Cheers!
