    Hi Chris,

    the search only works for child terms. As soon as I want to show results for a parent term it doesn’t work and shows “No results found”. So I have i.e. disciplines like
    A
    AA
    AB
    AC
    B
    BA
    BB
    and so on.

    If I select anything like AA or BB in the Dropdown menu, it will show perfect results, what I was looking for. But when I select A or B it won’t find anything.

    Why’s that? And how can I fix this?

    Second question:

    I’m still trying to order the items in the dropdown list hierarchially or to only show parent items. Is that possibile?

    Hi Chris,

    I tried the Plug-In but it doesn’t show the terms hierchially. Well, I can order them and they show differently in the Menu but in the dropdown they are wildly mixed when the plug-in is activated. Any ideas?

    For the search results problem try for instance the term “Allgemeinbildung” in the first drop down. That’s a parent.

    Hi Andrea,

    I have made some more research and it seems that the search script has nested taxonomies available from 1.3 version while the theme has the 1.2 version.

    To update you’ll need to update the files. You can get the archive from here: http://d.pr/f/XYDVF

    In your theme’s folder > framework > inc > wp-advanced-search replace the files with the ones from the new archive.

    I have replaced the “AND” operator with “IN” in the “sd-wp-advanced-search.php” file for all taxonomies.
