Hi.
Yesterday my site suddenly slowed the loading time. I didn’t install new plugins, or loaded images.
I used P3 Plugin Profiler to check if there was a plugin slowing down the site. I deleted the plugins with problems, but I still can’t solve the slow load time problem.I already have WP-Optimize. I think the database is not the problem.
It was working fine. On PageSpeed Insights the result is 84, just like before. However, the site loads very slow.
Can you please tell me if it is a theme problem? WordPress updates sometimes mess up with things. My site is http://mexicofootwear.com
Hope to hear from you soon.
Regards.November 7, 2014 at 2:58 pm #4357Hi there,
Are you sure the problem it’s not from your Internet connection? I’ve just checked your website and it’s loading instantly for me. And I have a really bad (360 Kb/s) connection.
Try to load the site on other machines too.
Let me know how’s going.
Cheers!
ChrisNovember 7, 2014 at 4:55 pm #4361Hi Chris.
It’s loading normally now. Don’t know what happened. I think the problem was not from my Internet connection because the other websites were loading normally.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Cheers.

January 25, 2015 at 4:35 pm #5137Hi Chris,
I hope all is well.
The site is slow since almost more than one month. But no I know why. I will the describe the problem below. The problem
The site’s frontend loads normally. However, when I login, loading time slows down a lot. – -w. Below I’ll explain what I did to try to solve this problem.
How I tried to solve the problem
This is how I tried to solve the problem, in order:
1. I reinstalled WordPress 4.1. It didn’t work.
2. Reset the plugins folder, renaming them and then naming them back. It didn’t work.
3. I disabled all the plugins. It didn’t work.
4. I removed all the plugins. It didn’t work.
5. Re-uploaded new and fresh wp-admin and wp-includes folders. It didn’t work.
6. I checked my internet connection. Internet connection has no problems. The solution
The solution was to switch to another theme. I switched to the twentyeleven theme and the problem was solved. Wp-admin and frontend loaded normally when I logged in after switching themes. The problem is the Cassiopeia theme. I think WordPress updates affected the theme.
What I think you need to do the following
Please check what is the problem with Cassiopeia theme. I can give you login access if you want. My website is http://mexicofootwear.com
Hope to hear from you soon.

FuadJanuary 26, 2015 at 7:05 pm #5144Hi there,
I think the problem is from a resource that no longer exists after I’ve changed my host.
Try this:
Edit the file named “functions.php” and remove this from line 732:
// Update Notifier require('admin/update-notifier.php');
Save. Done.
Let me know how’s going.
Cheers!
ChrisJanuary 26, 2015 at 9:11 pm #5147Thank you Chris.
I removed line 732 and theme is normal again.
Cheers,
