    Hi,

    I’m trying to add a slider (on my home page) to my website. When I do not create a slider, it appears with an error (Revolution Slider Error: Slider with alias homeslider not found.). This is good, means Revolution is loaded. But when I try to add a slider, it disappears. No error is shown. Also, the sub-menus are out of reach, they collapse before you can click on any of them (but only when a slider is created). I tried to import your demo slider, the same. Also, the slide image thumbnails do not show up (just a line, a piece of it).

    What could be the problem?

    I have found 4 other issues:

    1. Icons from the text editor (short codes) do not show up…

    Example:
    [icon style=”phone”][/icon]
    [icon style=”email”][/icon]
    [icon style=”checked”][/icon]

    2. Tables do not show up (styled or not)

    3. Responsive images do not show up:
    [responsive] [/responsive]

    4. I think carousel is not working properly (only one item is showing up)

    Hi there,

    That error is because your home slider must have the “homeslider” alias. Simply put it like this and it will work.

    Hi Chris,

    I know! That’s what i told you in the first post. Take a look now (same link). I added a slider with 2 photos:

    ID Name N. Slides Actions Shortcode Preview
    5 homeslider (homeslider) 2 Edit Slider

    [rev_slider homeslider]

    Now the slider is completely gone. This is my issue. When i create a slider and add photos, the slider is gone, and my MENU is messed up (can’t access submenus, try to click on one submenu). The slider was deleted at the moment you visited the site because i could not work and build my site because the MENU is messed up when a slider is created. Can you take a look now? I have to delete the slider (and you will see the error with the homeslider alias), otherwise i can’t use the menus to check how my site looks like while i’m buildin the rest of it.

    1. I’ve updated the slider. Check it out and see if it makes any difference.

    2. The icons are not displayed because I’ve made a mistake in the shortcode output to the editor. I’m sorry about that. When you insert an icon (home icon for example) the send button will output this:

    [icon style="home"][/icon]

    The correct way should be this:

    [icon style="icon-home"][/icon]

    Test and let me know if it’s ok.

    3. How did you insert your responsive content? I’ve made a test using the responsive shortcode and everything works fine.

    Eg.

    [responsive] <img src="your-img-url" /> [/responsive]

    4. The carousel was supposed to be this way. I can guide you if you want to change it to make a normal one.
