    My hosting company tells me that the reason my site is slow is because it is too big. 345 Mb in size. He also ran a couple of tests. I have no clue what they mean

    Hi,

    Well I’m not sure what they mean too. Did they tell you 345 Mb of what? Images, scripts, other files?

    Did you try to disable the plugins that you don’t really need?

    The files you’ve posted only include resources used by the plugins you have installed.

    Oh, btw, the theme itself is only 20 Mb with everything included.

    The 345 mb was for the entire site. I abandoned that site and started over. This was due to the fact the database was bloated beyond belief. The client’s ISP does not allow for multiple databases in MySql. So every install of every site since day one was in there. There were Joomla files, drupal files and raw sql stuff none of which related to the site being built. So I started over on my server with a clean database.I am about half way done and the new site is under 500kb

    Oh, I see. Well my suggestion is to change your hosting company. There’s no way a serious company will not let you in almost 2016 to use multiple databases. Unless it’s a free hosting option.
