Just checking back in on this, as I’ve seen replies to other posts but not this one. Thanks!

First I owe you a BIG apology! Originally I saw ‘replies” to other posts, and then after I first wrote to you I saw that the replies were from the original posters. Hope all’s ok!

Here’s the link to the more page. Links to other pages are there too so you can see that the icons are ok on other pages. I’m thinking it might have something to do with the coding of the home page itself, since it’s only happening there. Oddly, it was fine early in the designing.

BTW, I really like your themes, and will probably purchase some others as I get better acquainted with Word Press.

I think I’ve narrowed it down!

Right above the footer on the home page, I enabled “Bottom Custom Content” ONLY on the home page, in order to add some testimonials. At the end of that content, there’s a link to the testimonials page. See attachment.

The icons are only duplicating on the Home page, because somehow, the Social Icons widget in the footer is picking up the testimonials link from the Bottom Custom Comment.

To test my theory, I checked the box “display custom content site wide”, and all the pages began showing the double icons. I unchecked it again, and the doubling only occurs on the home page.

So something between the Bottom Custom Content, the Social widget and the Footer isn’t working right.

It was in there earlier, and I must’ve accidentally deleted it (remember I said it was fine, then it changed?). Thanks for finding that. I’ll be more through next time!

When I added the code and saved, it returned as “” and it worked.
