    I’ve tried installing a few Testimonials plugins on the site and even though the plugins install, I cannot use them via the Admin dashboard interface they provide. Since it has happened with multiple plugins I started looking for conflicts and turned off the bulk of the plugins on the site. Then I searched through your code and saw there is a custom post-type of ‘Testimonials’ in there in the Visual Composer files. I have a feeling that code is conflicting with the plugins I’m trying to get working on the site as they all have their own post types probably called the same thing.

    So I have two questions:
    I tried to work with the Testimonial Rotator in Visual Composer. I get the element onto the page easy enough, but am unable to add any content items to it. Is there documentation on what is needed to make that work? Nothing is working right now in the Back end or Front end Editors. Does it only recognize certain mark up?
    If I remove all references to the testimonial vc files will it break anything and will I then be able to reinstall the other plugins successfully?

    Hi there,

    If you want to remove the testimonials post type from the theme you need to edit the file named “sd-custom-post-types.php” located in your WP root folder > wp-content > plugins > sd-theme-functions-helping-hands > inc and remove the code from line 49 to 85.

    It won’t be possible to use the theme’s testimonials section but you can use third party plugins that makes use of the testimonials post type.
