    I am having trouble with showing text in the trainers carousel and post carousel.
    for ex. [sd_blog cats=””] is showing text without formating. I would like to use<br> inside, or can I?

    Now it show post in one line without breaks. Where can I change how much text inside boxes?

    Hi there,

    You’ll need to enable the excerpt field from the upper right corner > “Screen Options”. Then insert the excerpt using your desired html tags inside.

    If you want to change the size of the excerpt you’ll need to edit the theme’s plugin file named “shortcodes.php” located in your WP root folder > wp-content > plugins > sd-shortcodes > inc.

    On line 904 you’ll find this piece of code:

    <?php echo substr(get_the_excerpt(), 0, 200) . ' ...'; ?>

    Change the 200 to your custom number.

    Following up on this post and Skat’s comment:

    “You’ll need to enable the excerpt field from the upper right corner > “Screen Options”. Then insert the excerpt using your desired html tags inside.”

    As you mention above, the “excerpt field” is not available as an option through the WP admin for either “Instructors” or “Classes” like it exists for a standard “Post”. Where and how do I add this into the theme? In a functions.php file? Sorry, but having words cut off “mid-word” is just not acceptable in any text box, especially on the homepage, so I really need an appropriate solution to fix this.
