    Problem #1 – Ultimate Add On for VC not working, gives us white screen of death upon activation
    Problem #2 – cannot update Helping Hands theme from 1.2 to 2.1

    Upon activation, plugin shuts down front and back end and gives me a blank white screen. Debug is on and no error.

    This plugin is necessary to run the Helping Hands theme we are using. I bought a license because I think perhaps the bundled license expired.

    As I look at the theme, we have version 1.2 and 2.1 is the latest. However, we cannot update the theme.

    Plugin currently not installed so you can jump on and look. Helping Hands theme is 1.2.

    This seems to be a chicken and egg thing and I cannot fix it. HELP! 🙂

    We have people who are trying to donate money to kids so they can get their first bike. So we are a bit panicked.

    FYI – before updating, the plugin was working. Unfortunately, we did not backup as we should have because we were in a rush.

    Hi there,

    I’ve fixed it up and currently the site is working.

    2.1 is a large update so before updating I need to know if you did any changes to any of the theme files because they will be erased. Also, please make a full backup in case anything goes wrong.
