Hi there,

Make sure that the file named “custom-styles.css” located in the theme’s folder > framework > admin > admin-options has writing permissions so the them can save the colors inside.

I’ve checked your site and it seems the “custom-styles.css” is still not writable. Whenever you save the settings the file remains empty. That means the WP filesystem cannot write in the file. Please double check the permissions to be 755 or 777.

If it is writable it means WordPress is not the owner of the file. Make sure the WordPress user is the owner. Most of the time apache is the username that needs to be the owner of WP files.

You can do stuff on your server because your username that you’re logged in is the “owner” of the files. But so must WP be so it’s filesystem (disregarding the theme) can write in files.

That file is actually an empty file but it is where the custom styling is saved.

Hey, you’re using a different theme that works a little bit different. From the parent theme > framework > css copy both files “custom-styles.css” and “custom-styles.php” in framework > css and make sure the .css file has writing permissions.

Yes, copy both in the child theme folder following the same folder structure. Also, try making a test by setting the “custom-styles.css” file permissions to 777.

Custom CSS can always be pasted in the “Custom CSS” box too.
