    Can someone please help me figure out what has happened? I don’t have the short codes available on my pages, and can only choose “default template” and “page: blog” and “page:full width”…. Is this something to do with the child theme? I don’t know what I am supposed to do with it.

    Also, can I make the search bar search for categories and not keywords?

    I have posted on this forum earlier, and received no replies, and I really need help.

    Hi there,

    1. Since the WP 3.8 update the shortcode generator is gone because the whole editor was rebuilt. You’ll need to insert your shortcodes into the pages manually. You can find all of them, along with examples, in the documentation of the theme.

    2. Unfortunately that’s not possible right out of the box.
