Is this a Google font or a different type of font?

Upload your font files for example in the theme’s folder > framework > font (also can do it in the child theme folder). You will need the files in 4 formats: .eot, .woff, .ttf and .svg (for best performance and compatibility).

Then, in your stylesheet file (style.css file) add a piece of code like this:

@font-face {
    font-family: "Your Font Name;
    font-style: normal;
    font-weight: 400;
        src: url(framework/font/your-font-file.eot);
        src: url(framework/font/your-font-file.eot?#iefix) format("embedded-opentype"),
             url(framework/font/your-font-file.woff) format("woff"),
             url(framework/font/your-font-file.ttf) format("truetype"),
             url(framework/font/your-font-file.svg#star) format("svg");
}

Note that those are the paths from the parent theme’s folder > framework > font.

After you’ve loaded the font you can call your font in the styling.

Example:

h2 {
   font-family: "Your Font Name; 
}
