    Hello, skat design team.

    I’m Aris from Indonesia.
    I’ve just bought your theme yesterday and try to develop a website for my client using your theme.

    I’ve got a question regarding the visual composer plugin compatibility with Charity Theme.
    I usually use the visual composer plugin when developing a website. And your theme didn’t come up with a bundle of it, so i installed it in the website and try to using it.

    But i think there’s a bug there. When i use the visual composer in the page, it showing slide bar at the bottom (like it didnt show fullscreen, even though my zoom in mozilla is 100%0. And when i didnt use the visual composer, and just use the shortcode, it’s doing fine.

    Here’s the picture comparation with and without visual composer.

    What i want is, when i’m using the visual composer, the slide bar didn’t pop up.

    Hey Aris,

    This is happening because the visual composer is using a different grid system than the theme.

    The theme is using bootstrap.

    If you want to display centered content make sure you wrap your content in the [sd_centered] shortcode.

    Example:

    [sd_centered]

... your content here ...

[/sd_centered]

    You can then use the normal VC.

    Thanks a lot Chris! It really works!
    I try to inset the code and it works fine, but if i want to edit the page again using visual composer i must delete the tag first, lol.

    Can I suggest to insert a bundle with visual composer in your theme?
    I don’t mind if the price is up, it would help a lot to developing the website.

    Can we insert [sd_centered] directly in the template somehow to fix the VC issue so that the tag doesn’t need to be deleted and added each time? I am having the same issue as Aris. Can you help us get a more permanent fix?

    Hi there,

    I’m working on implementing VC as we speak. Unfortunately, I’m not familiarized with its code so it will take a couple of weeks to test all its functions (code wise not what you see when working with it).

    I can tell you the method on how to insert the centered section but if you hardcode it into the theme you won’t be able to use full width sections anymore (Like full width bg. section with centered content).

    What was the outcome of the implementation of VC into the Charity theme? We just recently bought the theme (a little more than a year after this thread was originally created) and VC is still not incorporated and we’re encountering the same problem with the [sd_centered] shortcode.

    How do you suggest that add the shortcode around the VC content? I’ve tried adding it in a VC text box and a VC Raw HTML element and neither seems to work correctly.
