I downloaded the css from the demo page, and linked manualy into head.php and the site works. so the problem seems to be the framework not creating the css any hints about how to solve this? maybe its the framework not workinging in wp version 4.0

That’s weird. It seems the stylesheet is not loaded. I’ll make an update right away. Please download a new copy of the theme in a couple of hours, when the update gets approved on TF, and let me know how’s going.

@skat I’ve downloaded the latest file from TF and the stylesheet seems to be working again. However, Revslider is still not working. I did a fresh install of the theme via FTP upload, but the Revslider isn’t installing. I’ve tried doing the install from the “required plugins” warning that the theme pops up automatically, and I tried uploading the .zip file from the theme folder into the WP Plugin Installer, but both times I get the following error:

Unpacking the package…
Installing the plugin…
Could not create directory. “…/wp-content/plugins/revslider/cache”
Plugin install failed.

When I try to unzip the actual plugin folder from “charity/framework/plugins/revslider” and upload the slider to via FTP to the main plugins folder, it says that I do not have the proper permissions. I can see the Revslider folder in the main plugins directory, but cannot access or delete it due to permissions. I can see the revslider.zip file in the charity/framework/plugins folder…but cannot access or delete them due to permissions either.

Any idea why this is happening?

@rhurlburt: Hi, it seems that you have problems with permissions from your host. The theme cannot alter the permissions of any file/folder. You’ll need to check with your host about this.

Regarding the stylesheet version, I just forgot to change the version #. Don’t worry about it.

@skat, thanks… I’ve updated permissions and was able to load the updated revslider. Strange that the folder’s permissions were 0,0,0 when everything else was set properly. Didn’t have that issue until the update.

However, the admin css seems to be off (I just updated revslider in another theme and looks differently here – buttons are acting strange, layout is clunky, seems the admin style may be broken). Also, my slides aren’t showing up. In the admin, it shows the slides I created. But when I got in to each slide to edit, all the content is nonexistent, even though settings and url’s for images are preserved. Adding the shortcode to the page does nothing – no slider shows up. I even tried uploading the revslider.zip from another theme just to see if something was off with the one included in Charity. But nothing changed.

I’d wonder if this is a revslider issue. However, as I mentioned, I just upadted to 4.6 in another theme and I’m having zero issues there. Could it be something in the theme structure that’s breaking the revslider plugin?

I’ve attached a few images for you to see what I’m seeing.

@skat thanks for the fast response! Unfortunately, that did nothing. It only showed the actual shortcode – see attached image.

I deactivated all the other plugins to see if there was a conflict, but that didn’t help either.
