    Skat – Do do not think the problem is resolved. If I change any style setting colors and save, they do not change the homepage. Maybe I am missing something or doing something completely wrong.

    For example , I want to menu text to be #658d3d. but as you see, not matter how many time I enter, save, and refresh I can not change this color (see attached)

    Maybe I am using the wrong setting.

    BTW – I did start from scratch. New wordpress load and also clean template install

    I am still having problems with the styles apply when I change them. What should I try to do?

    Would it be easier to just give the file locations of the variables and I will change them in the php or css file?

    for some reason if you chose white for background color (header) is only put #FFF in style sheet. I manually changed to #FFFFFF and the color changed

    I am thinking I have the same problem. I can not change the header background – see image. It is set to white but stays dark grey. The css file is set to permission 777 but still the same problem
