I have followed the post instructions and pasted:

if (!function_exists('sd_no_wptexturize')) {
  function sd_no_wptexturize($shortcodes){
	$shortcodes[] = 'accordions';
        return $shortcodes;
    }
    add_filter( 'no_texturize_shortcodes', 'sd_no_wptexturize' );
}

at the end of the functions.php file – to no change.

I also tried to look for: framework/inc/shortcodes.php – as someone suggested, but cannot find that file.

I am on WordPress 4.1 – any suggestions?
