    Just so you know, the code change you mentioned here does fix not being able to upload header images 😛

    That doesn’t have any impact on loading the child theme style.css file. It’s still skipped over and the template theme’s style.css file is loaded instead.

    I added this to enqueue.php not sure if it’s going to cause other problems but at least I can see the stylesheet is loading.

    wp_enqueue_style( 'style', get_stylesheet_uri() );
